Fall/Winter Maintenance Guidelines

• Caulk windows and doors to reduce air loss. Adjust thresholds as necessary.




• Apply pre-emergent, for fall weed control, at the end of October.




• Change air filters every month. (every 3-months with extended life filters)




• Change smoke alarm batteries at the time change.




• Check all sinks and fittings for water leaks.




• Test all GFCI outlets for serviceability.




• Clean gutters.




• Close outside water spigots and drain excess water.




• Apply pest control for internal and external pests.




• Check hot water heater relief valve for leaks.

Spring/Summer Maintenance Guidelines
